Why are there different prices for
different stylists?
We have a wide variety of
price levels
to accommodate
everyone's pocket book. We have a skill certification /
education
program that all of our technicians progress through. As
their skill, experience, and demand increase, they are promoted
to the next price level.
We have price levels 2 through 9 with Academy
levels being 2 and 3. Academy level stylist are fully
licensed and have completed the salon's basic training and are
currently in the advanced graduate training program. We are a salon that puts a high
priority on continuing education.
Are the prices the same for men, children,
and senior citizens?
Yes. We take the same great care for both sexes at all
ages.
What products do you sell and use at the
salon?
We use and sell exclusively Aveda products because you
deserve the very best.
Are the Aveda products prices the same as
in the mall stores?
Yes. We carry the full line of Aveda hair, skin and
make-up products.
How far in advance should I book my
appointment?
It depends on the stylist and the day and time you would like
to come in. Evening and Saturday appointments get filled
the fastest. We recommend pre-booking your next
appointment at check-out before leaving the salon.
What do I do if I need to cancel my
appointment?
We realize that things happen. If at all possible,
please give us at least a 48 hour notice, so that someone else
will have the opportunity take your time slot. Call or
email the salon.
Can I cancel my appointment online?
No. You must call 404-262-9499 during
working hours of
our booking center to cancel appointments or email us at
salon@bobsteele.com .
How much do I tip?
Tipping is never required but always appreciated. Like
restaurants, 10% to 20% is the norm.
Can I add the tip on my credit card?
Yes. You can add it to your credit card or give cash or
check directly to the technicians. You could also leave it
with someone at guest relations, who will see that your
technician receives it.
What kind of training do your stylist
receive?
Education is a high priority at the salon. We have
extensive classes on location, as well as some of the best hair artists
in the industry teaching on a regular basis. We also
attend shows all over the world to bring back the latest looks
for you.
Do you sell or share information on my
client file with others?
No. Your information is kept private and is never
shared with anyone outside the company.
What forms of payment do you take?
We accept cash, check, traveler checks, Visa, Master Card,
Discover Card, American Express, our gift cards and Aveda gift
cards.
Can I use your gift card at all Bob Steele
Salon locations?
Yes. You can purchase or use your gift card at all
locations. They can also be
purchased online.
Do you accept the Aveda gift card?
Yes. We accept Aveda gift cards at all locations.
Can I sign up and participate in the
Aveda
Pure Privilege program?
Yes. You can do this at all of the Bob Steele Salon
locations.
How can I book my appointments online?
At your first visit to Bob Steele Salon, you will be given a
login name and password. On our website, take the
tutorial
on internet booking first. If you forget your password, it
will be emailed to you at login. If you have
any questions or problems with your login name or password,
