Bob Steele Salon Welcomes New Sister Brand: W. Daly Salon
March 31, 2021 marked an important milestone for Bob Steele Salon and W. Daly Salon, as the 5-location small business opened their community to welcome in two new sister locations in Newnan and Peachtree City. So Chic Salon Brands, Inc. now serves as the umbrella company to the 5 BSS locations and now the 2 W. Daly Salons.
Amanda Hair, small business owner of Bob Steele Salon and So Chic Salon Brands, Inc., met Wendy Daly, owner of W. Daly Salon at an event and the two immediately clicked - sharing the same values and ideals of how a salon should be operated. In 2017- discussions of a possible acquisition between the two salons became brought to light, and the two began communicating about the possibility of the two brands becoming uniting.
"The W. Daly brand is a strong market leader. I fell in love with the brand, much as I did with the Bob Steele Salon brand two decades ago. We'll keep the operations of the brand, while working with our core values to improve as we have with the Bob Steele Salon brand under my leadership for the last 20 years," stated Hair.
As talks continued between Wendy and Amanda, pieces just began to fall into place. Not only did both salons utilize Qnity (which helps small businesses level up their financial intelligence to make better decisions, improve profits and increase cash flow through training and consulting services), but Amanda also wanted to continue the practices and flow of what W. Daly already established.
Sage Daly, daughter of Wendy and newly appointed General Manager of the two w. Daly salons, was a blessing! With her background in the salon business and also her passion for people - she was the perfect fit to continue the legacy and help bring together the brand as a whole.
With the joining of both salon brands - Jennifer Barber, 10 year team member at Bob Steele Salon, will continue operating as the Bob Steele Salon General Manager, and Sage will continue as the W. Daly General Manager. So Chic Salon Brands will celebrate the uniqueness of each brand while providing support to continuously improve each salon community.
So Chic Salon Brands, Inc. creates healthy and rewarding work environments for a predominantly female workforce by providing a career focused work environment, health benefits and matching 401K plans, a rarity in the salon industry.
"Providing a robust benefits package allows our workforce to be autonomous in their personal lives; earning an attractive income while doing what they love—giving our teams the ultimate gift, freedom in the workforce," shared Ms Hair.
Why So Chic? C3HIC is an acronym for their Core Values of Caring, Community, Continuous Improvement, Having Fun, Integrity, and Celebrated - making us So Chic.
